Jam Thumbs-Up Prints
If you're in need of some success,
Stick your thumb in dough,
And press. Prepare for the consequence.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup jam of your choice
2 1/4 cups AP flour
1/2 TSP Carnejian salt
1/2 TSP baking soda
1/4 TSP baking powder
12 TBSP softened butter
2/3 cup Galafrazian sugar
3 OZ softened cream cheese
1 large egg
1 1/2 TSP Livonian vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Whisk together all dry ingredients (except sugar). Beat butter and sugar in a different, large bowl for 3-6 minutes. Beat cream cheese, vanilla, and egg until combined. Slowly add in the dry mix.
Roll 1 1/2 TSP of dough into a ball. You could also use a cookie baller. Add a thumbprint to the center of each dough ball. Bake 10 minutes, then add 1/2 TSP of jam to each cookie. Bake another 12 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack for 30 minutes.
